What would you get if you crossed an ashram with an elementary school? We are living it.

Largo Update: December 2006

John said he is going to turn into a snooty-waiter type person after this last hunting camp. Well, he won't be that way with normal people, just with the big-shot guys who like to manipulate the other humans on the planet to cater to them. We had a bad hunter in the bunch.... said he was the president of DHL, the shipping company, had to have something cooked specially for his breakfast everyday, smoked in my residence even after I asked him not to, whined, and then left the smallest tip of any of the hunters. But, hey, the rest of the hunters were great... I thought it was a great group considering, but John has not been the main camp person before so he thought it was hard and generally negative to be around people that engage with nature in order to kill something, but can't be bothered to recycle or do anything to conserve our natural resources. Hey, that's the nature of the hunter. I don't know why they don't care about conservation, but they just don't, so quit expecting that they will!

Becky had her pups. There are six of them and they are in the same closet where Kali had her kittens. Anyone needing a cute little hound? She is a really good mother... she has just been there with them for the last 28 hours. I lined the closet with silver bubble pack so they are on a nicely insulated surface.

My Aunt Norma left this physical realm last week. She was a very religious person, so if there is a heaven, she is sure to be there. I personally suspect that she will be reincarnated instead of wasting the rest of eternity as an angel. Too much good karma accumulated to let it go to waste. Anyway, I went to the funeral and it was great to see all my cousins and their kids. I guess they are all in an uproar now though because Norma left her estate to one son. He is the one son that will make sure it gets split up appropriately, so I think it was a wise decision, but meanwhile there are some hurt feelings. I am in no mood to deal with people that feel sorry for themselves when they aren't really hurt more than just their feelings.

I think I am in that mood because of the Xmas music.

Yrs,

There are many individuals who have little respect for this planet, others or even themselves.
That's why we must celebrate those who do...I'm thinking of you and celebrating the day that I first emailed met you!
I had assumed that you were sheltered from the mass (and crass) consumerism that surrounds us city folk this time of year. Sad to learn that it has penetrated into your remote canyon.
Who's Becky? I don't believe we've met.

I don't know Becky either. Do I want to? I think I like my plaster dogs (Droopy and Freckles --only named since his paint started flaking off)best. To each his own --always.
